Canolfan Dewi Sant Community Centre

Canolfan Dewi Sant Community Centre, Eryrys, was previously the local Church in Wales place of worship.

​

After the church was closed in the 1990's a group of local people got together to form a committee to turn the building into a community centre and in 2000 it was formally leased from the Church in Wales and became the new Community Centre, whilst at the same time also becoming a charity.

 

Since its inception the Community Centre has been managed by a small group of volunteers ( The current committee can be seen in the Hall Committee - Meet the Team page on this web site) and whose aim is to provide the community with a space to host events and activities.

The aim of the Community Centre is to enhance people's wellbeing, the local environment, and bring a sense of community spirit. The Centre has been, and can be, used for a diverse range of events and activities to benefit the local community, and those who visit the area, and these events/activities can be seen on the What's On and Upcoming Events pages on this website.
